Terms of engagement

Last updated: 30 April 2026.

These terms apply to coaching engagements with Johannes le Roux, trading as Johannes le Roux Coaching (referred to here as "we" or "the Coach"). They are intended to be plain-English; if anything is unclear, ask before booking.

1. Scope

Coaching is delivered as one of the productised packages listed on our coaching page, or as otherwise agreed in writing. The deliverables for each package are listed against the package and form part of these terms.

2. Fees and payment

Fees are stated in South African Rand on the coaching page. Paid packages are payable in advance via the checkout / invoice provided. The Founder Clinic introductory call is free.

3. Sessions, rescheduling and cancellation

  • Reschedule any session up to 24 hours before its start time at no charge.
  • Inside 24 hours, the session is forfeited unless we mutually agree otherwise.
  • Multi-session packages must be completed within six (6) months of purchase.

4. Refunds

Full refund on the unused balance of any package up to 14 days after purchase. After that, refunds are case-by-case — contact leroux.johannes@gmail.com and we'll find a fair outcome.

5. Confidentiality and IP

We will treat all venture, financial, and strategic information shared during coaching as confidential. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA on request. You retain all intellectual property in your venture; any frameworks, templates, or written materials we provide remain ours but may be used freely inside your business.

6. No professional advice

Coaching is not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice and should not be relied on as such. For regulated advice, consult an appropriately licensed professional.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or related to a coaching engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.

8. Privacy

Personal information is processed in line with our privacy policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Western Cape, unless we mutually agree to mediation first.
